Can not install THT

Hello. I am trying to install THT but everytime i try it stalls at the point where i press next after typing admin details. it just stalls after pressing the button. I have tried like 10 times over 3-4 months now. this is so frustrating. i even tried installing cpcreator just for the heck of it and it installed just fine...

i also tried the nightly build and the beta but those give me "You can only run the install from the /home/thtdk/public_html/tht-nightly/install/index.php file." error even though i am running index.php from the install dir. when removing the piece of php that echoes that line it still stalls at that point (or did it just give me a red one or zero. i dont remember, it's getting late.)

i really hope that i will be able to install this script soon.

The nightly build is not currently supported. Please install 1.2.1 and see if you get the same results.

sorry if i wasnt clear but i tried 1.2.1 1.2.2b and nightly. none of them works.

What error did you get with 1.2.1?

none, i pressed the button it turned grey and then nothing happens. i just tried installing it on another server (leaseweb) and it went right trough. the server it is supposed to be installed on is a hostgator reseller account.

Contact your host and have them review the server logs (specifically the Apache and mod_security logs). This seems to be a common occurance for servers running third party mod_security rules (although I have not had any issue with GotRoot's rule set).

I'd also check to see if your files were uploaded correctly and make sure that the web server has permissions to read the files. Sometimes files are returned with 403 errors.

been talking with a hostgator supporter for an hour now but without luck. all files are uploaded fine, as all the other times

actually, before i wasnt aware that i was missing "ezhost_" in the DB field. when i wrote the right details i could proceed to step 3. unfortunately there was errors there too. something about broken. looked like the images. and underneath the sql errors there was information that my password had been reset and such. sorry for not providing any screenshot or similar but its very late and just closed everything down. will post again tomorrow when im fresh....

It definitely sounds like a server issue if you are following the exact steps on a different server and they are working. Why not use a different server? It's unfortunate that we can't guarantee THT to work on every server since there are thousands of different settings and configurations out there.
