Installation problems...

Hey there fellow THT members, I'm having a bit of trouble installing THT for the first time.

I run the installer and everything goes smoothly until I'm on step 4. After I input my details into the fields I press next and the button turns into "working..." after that it does nothing... It sits there at "working..." forever...

Any solutions?

I've deleted everything and reinstalled it three times now and I continue to receive the same error.

Update: It has been stuck on "working..." for ten minutes now. Sorry if this is a double post, I assumed it would merge with my first post. If not, I'll learn to edit my original post.

Can you see if it is writing anything to an error_log (possibly in your root, /install/, or /includes/ directory)?

I just checked and no, there's no error logs in either of those three places.

yeah i am getting this problem too with a new install

it is like it not wanting to install it doesnt like me

That is not a THT related error (THT does not use ffmpeg). I would contact your web host.

i know that but i fixed that error that was coming up for the tht

it was b/c i was trying to install it again to see if it would work and i had to edit the config file

but i have tried and tried to install it over and over again but it just gets stuck on Step 4

every time it puts all the info in the database but it isnt going past step 4 so it isnt putting the main admin account or the url for the install into the database

I got a PM from pkdemon and according to him the problem was due to mod_security. Amayzing, please contact your host and have them review your mod_security logs if you do not have access to them to resolve this problem.
