Credits not Posts in p2h
Hello,
is it possible for THT to check on "Points" generated through a point system like vbcredits and not for posts?? even if we can manually change the db it looks for and replace it with the credits db, and deduct the amount each month?/

for example, the user has 100 credits, and he needs 20 credits per month, so the first month they become 80, then 60 and so on..

Also is it possible to deduct a certain amount at start, and a different amount each month??

No. It would be called Credits2Post if it was. Wink This may be implemented in the future sometime, though.

This is a neat suggestion, but it has a major roadblock: you would need a totally different code for every credits system. we may implement this as an optional plugin at some point, but I don't see it becoming included default.

See, I've been suggested this many times before.
The thing is, people use MANY point plugins out there, so for me, posts is the only option to keep things global.

There is a better solution..
You can give the option for advanced members, to put in the db table that has a count in it..

and the user is responsible to see which db is used with his plugin system.. All plugins will save points in a database table.. wont they

This is feasible but a lot of things could go wrong here. If this were to be implemented it'd be in a much future release.

yeah, but they way of interfacing with the DB is still different & the tables themselves are different for every plugin, so we are back where we are started with coding something for every plugin out there.

If the owner of the host configured it manually, its okay, but we might not be able to help you if you tamper with the p2h system too much.
Its possible, check /includes/types/p2h.php. Editing the fields WOULD PROBABLY make it to work.

I was thinking about a setup page in the ACP for it. Like put in your database details and then put in the table that has credits and the field.

Then we could implement types of plugins to start. If the plugin isn't supported by THT's P2H system, you can choose to enter the table fields, etc.
