The most complicated suggestions ever
Ok so here I would have to explain a layout I guess.
Lets say I have 3 servers. They host the following packages: 1:free1 2:free1,free2 3:free2 Would it be impossible to have the account creation script to go round robin between servers for the selected hosting package? and then have the welcome email include the server by hostname and IP so that people with their own domains can have the server to log into until their DNS is setup? Also say server1 is a bit slower. So I want to limit it to 150 Sites. Can there also be that ability? so the creation script will go back and forth between server 1 and 2 until server 1 is at 150 accounts, and then only use server 2 Complicated I know.... This one is easier. A Captcha for account creation? Helps get rid of bots.... |

RE: The most complicated suggestions ever
as long as users are using your own domain, or you have two domains, this is doable.
would be pretty hard though. Nick - TheHostingTool Staff Coordinator ![]() |

RE: The most complicated suggestions ever
Hello,
I understand what you are asking - and yes, I do agree it is a usefull feature. If there are many other people who agree, we may consider this feature for 1.3, but it will not be ready to implement in 1.2 Rich - Ex lead developer |
