Client Sign Up , Login , Email SMTP error

Hi, I just installed THT on Apache and running Panel.

1) I did a test creating an account until thru the last step and account was created successfully but having an error on SMTP.

Quote:////////////////THT ERROR
Error: SMTP Failed!
Details: You need PEAR installed to send email with SMTP. Please use the PHP method or install PEAR.
/////////////////

I did set the Email Config to Gmail SMTP
smtp.gmail.com
myaccount@gmail.com
mypassword

but I still get that error.

Client Login

When ever I login as Client it says Username doesn't exist.

any help on this?

Thanks Kevin.. it works with PHP Method by configuring PHP.INI.

How do I change Sender's Email Add from the email?

ex: from The Hosting Tool admin@thehostingtool.com

or thats a default?

That setting is right under the one you just changed... "Email From" on the "Email Configuration" page.
