During the first step of installation it shows
Quote:Your ../includes/conf.inc.php file doesn't exist! Please create it!Anyone please help.... |

as it says, Simply create a blank conf.inc.php file under includes folder.

I have created conf.inc.php and set file permission to 777. It is now showing Your SQL Details are incorrect! in spite of correct details.

The port no in etc/my.cnf is 3306 and the database is in same server.

You experienced the error upon attempting to install THT, or after installing? There might be a couple of reasons for that, like the MySQL server being down, or having a full disk. Try checking those too.

my suggeation if you have fantastico try using that to install the software as it confiugures everything for you you might have to change some of the chmod's though as it tends to be a bit glitchy

It's a security check so that the installer can only be used once someone with sufficient permissions creates the configuration file.
