THT Abuse protection

I think we should license THT, to prevent its abuse. People just need to order a free license key. Which is instantly provided. If you guys at THT could integrate the code, I can setup the licensing software on my servers. I will do it free. Let me know!

THT is open-source, so I don't really see a point in this. Someone could just circumvent the "licensing" code.

I don't really see the need for this. At times the THT website is down, so when the server is down, so will the THT installation on every host, won't it? Besides. Its open source. Even if you do a licensing basis, someone can just fork it.

The only way we can successfully do this is with PHP encryption, but then it takes away the whole point of why its free & open-sourced.

i dont really see how can someone abuse tht.
The most people can do is remove the tht link from the footer, but only noobs
will do that, because it harms your rep.anyone who lnows wen design can easily see it in the code.

I always clearly tells my members, that its tht script.
