Captcha Help

Error: the captcha that's with the THT is not showing and I know I don't have something installed on the server and I was wondering what it is that I'm missing for it of not showing.
Question: I was wondering how can I replace the default captcha system with the reCaptcha system?

The default captcha system could be replaced by editing a few core files. Those include ajax.php, captcha_image.php and some tpl files from the order form. I wouldn't really recommended doing so as that'll make upgrading a bigger pain. We may add reCAPTCHA support in a later release. If the current system isn't working, confirm GD for PHP is installed.

Sorry for the double post but I would want to use ReCaptcha on THT is there a tut on how to use it on THT?
