This is the error I got when I try to register to create an account. It takes a long time and shows this, does anyone know how to solve this?

Try re-installing it, it seems like the code has been tampered with.

I did so, but now it just hangs on the registering page with the yellow bars.

Its to do with the connection with you web server. I had this problem.
All I did was checked the domain of my server and then it worked.
